We were asked to create the branding, promotional literature and online digital marketing for TEDS, an IT company, providing creative technology solutions and services for several thousand enlightened customers, including large and small businesses, creative professionals, FTSE 250 companies, education institutions and consumers. TEDS wanted something different and unique, but needed a brand that looked like it belonged in front of a corporate boardroom, yet was equally at home on a living room table.
After sketching out a few ideas, we decided a clean and clinical approach was appropriate. This gave the brand a corporate look and feel but still appealed to a wide range of consumers. Colour was one of the main factors we had to take into consideration. Using a bright orange as our main colour gave a modern, vibrant appearance, creating a brand that really stood out against it’s competitors.
One part of the project that was truly unique and creative was the posters. After talking to Dion about the services he offers the general public, it was decided to focus on what TEDS can do for the many people who needed their digital devices fixing. Using imagery of waterlogged tablets, coffee soaked laptops and cracked mobile phone screens, we went on to create a humorous and eye-catching set of posters, leaflets and banners.
