Introduction
Malmesbury Brewery is a new microbrewery based in the Malmesbury area. They offer a range of handcrafted real ales, available in both casks and bottles.
The brewery wanted branding that reflected the local character and charm of the region while standing out on shelves and behind the bar.
The Brief
Malmesbury Brewery approached LemonTop to design:
- Pump clips for cask ales
- 500ml beer bottle labels
They wanted designs that were bright, eye-catching, and playful, while also highlighting local landmarks and features that related to each beer’s name.
Our Approach
We started by researching the Malmesbury area to identify iconic local features. This helped create a connection between the beers and their surroundings.
Next, we explored vibrant colour palettes and bold typography to make the pump clips and bottle labels stand out.
We incorporated illustrative elements from local landmarks, ensuring each beer had a distinct identity while maintaining overall brand cohesion.
Additionally, we ensured the designs were functional for print production and consistent across different label sizes and formats.
The Outcome
The finished pump clips and bottle labels were bright, engaging, and memorable.
They successfully conveyed each beer’s unique story while celebrating the local heritage of Malmesbury.
The designs also made it easy for customers to identify beers at a glance, enhancing both shelf appeal and bar visibility.
