Introduction
In 2015, Maguires Country Parks approached us to create a new brochure. They wanted something both eye-catching and informative.
Furthermore, the brochure needed to showcase their parks, attractions, and events while simultaneously reflecting the welcoming and natural atmosphere of their sites.
The Brief
The client requested a brochure that would:
- Highlight park facilities and activities
- Appeal to families, tourists, and local visitors
- Include clear maps, directions, and opening times
- Be visually appealing and easy to navigate
They also wanted the design to immediately engage readers, encouraging them to visit the parks and explore their offerings.
The Design Approach
To begin, we analyzed the park’s offerings and identified key messages. This helped ensure that the content would communicate the parks’ most important features.
Next, we structured the content to balance information with visual appeal. In particular, we created clear headings, concise text, and engaging imagery.
In addition, we used vivid photography of landscapes, wildlife, and attractions to capture the parks’ unique character. This helped immerse readers in the natural beauty of the sites.
Moreover, we incorporated maps and icons to make navigation intuitive and enjoyable for readers. This allowed visitors to understand the layout and plan their trips with ease.
To maintain a cohesive look, we selected a fresh, natural colour palette that complemented the outdoor environment provided by Maguires Country Parks.
Finally, we ensured the brochure was print-ready while also maintaining flexibility for future updates, allowing the parks to keep the information current.
The Outcome
As a result, the finished brochure successfully communicated the parks’ attractions and activities.
Consequently, visitors could easily identify key features, plan their trips, and learn about upcoming events.
By combining eye-catching design, clear information, and natural imagery, the brochure enhanced the parks’ appeal. Ultimately, it encouraged more visits and strengthened their connection with the local community.
