Understanding the Brand
Brentwood Brewery has a strong, loyal following. Their old branding was familiar but needed updating.
We needed to balance new design ideas with the brand’s history. The pump clips had to look fresh but still feel like Brentwood.
Design Process
Unique Pump Clip Shape
We started by creating a new pump clip shape. It had to be eye-catching and different from others nearby.
The shape needed to be easy to handle and fit standard pump clip holders. We tested several ideas before choosing the final design.
Custom Designs for Each Beer
Next, we designed artwork for each beer using the new shape.
Each beer got its own look, reflecting its flavour and style. Pale ales, porters, and lagers all had unique designs.
But the whole range still looked like part of the same family.
Keeping Brand Elements
We kept Brentwood’s logo, colours, and fonts in the new designs. This kept the brand familiar to existing fans.
Collaboration

Production and Printing
We also talked to manufacturers early on. The pump clips had to be easy to produce and durable.
We chose printing materials that would last in busy pubs. The designs stay sharp even with heavy use.
