Vacancy: WordPress Web Developer

As an innovative visual communications agency, we are seeking a WordPress Web Developer. It would be an advantage to have knowledge in both backend PHP development and MySQL, together with a solid background in working with HTML & CSS. You will be responsible for developing websites with and without eCommerce, be comfortable working across all aspects of digital design and development and must have previous commercial experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Web development for a range of websites and digital projects.
  • Liaising with clients in order to define the requirements on projects.
  • Presenting ideas to the team.
  • Turning creative concepts into finished products.
  • Contributing ideas to the design brief.

Skills:

  • WordPress
  • PHP
  • MySQL database building and interrogation
  • Javascript
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Troubleshooting

It would be an advantage to know about or have experience in the following:

  • Writing your plugins and code
  • Developing gateways between different systems.
  • Adobe Creative Suite
