Talking Tides had a strong logo, recognised by their existing customers and a beer range based on their local area, however it all looked disjointed, messy and didn’t work together as a brand. They asked us to help bring the brand up to date and look more professional, tidying things up and bringing it all together as a cohesive brand identity.
Talking Tides wanted to appeal to a wider range of customers without losing the flavour and ambience of their local area. The first thing we did was look at how we could bring everything together as a cohesive brand identity. Our creative design team put their expertise to work, making sure all the logos were the same size, all the typefaces came from the same font family and the imagery all followed one style. Talking Tides had some great beers named after local landmarks so we made sure the imagery and colours matched the feelings and ambience of these iconic Northern features.





Talking Tides Brew Co now have a range of beer label designs, pump clip designs and marketing material that work seamlessly together. Their brand identity now appeals to a much wider audience because it exudes quality yet still retains the essence of their Northern roots which they are so proud of. From the North East coastline through to memories of growing up and living beside the seaside, the imagery, typography and creative designs have given the brewery a promotional theme they can use throughout their brand identity.
